The Island of Hawai'I is a global center for spiritual work. The island is a natural site for such a renaissance of activity because the beauty, the geographic features, the underlying influences, and the ancient culture all contribute to encouraging higher awareness.
With 21 of the 22 ecosystems on Planet Earth present on this island, Hawai'i is a microcosm of the planet. These ecosystems include tropical rain forest, hard wood forest, desert, ocean, river, and mountain environments. Within these ecosystems are found beautiful bird life, dolphins, whales, turtles, and an abundance of other creatures. This incredible diversity presents a constantly changing opportunity for natural experiences.
Mauna Kea is the highest mountain in the world, extending from the ocean bottom to 13,000 feet above sea level. The location of Mauna Kea is recognized as one of the primary power spots on the planet. Mauna Loa is the largest mountain in the world. The mountainous terrain creates numerous waterfalls charging the island with their special energies.
Large areas of land are covered in lava presenting a landscape of indescribable uniqueness. Until recently, live volcanoes continued to create new land daily. You could witness lava flowing over a cliff and into the sea, setting off massive steam explosions. You could stand on the edge of a crater and look into a huge lava pool. In a sudden change on Januray 30, 1997, Pele moved. The magma moved out from underneath the previously flowing vent. 7-9 million cubic feet of magma moved somewhere within the volcano. The vulcanologists had no idea where the magma went and awaited further developments. Pele returned to send lava fountaining into the air at a new vent site. This living energy of the Earth is a major source of vitality available for spiritual purposes.
With more than 69,000 measurable earthquakes in 1994 (all without significant damage), the very ground you walk upon is constantly vibrating. These vibrations are the physical representation of the higher frequency vibrations that are affecting the mental, emotional, and spiritual realms on the island.
Hawai'i is said to be the northeast corner of what was once the site of Lemuria, a culture built on love and democratic principles. The aloha spirit that lives within the Hawaiian people is another expression of that ancient culture and a living connection to ancient teachings and wisdom.
The people of the talking hands tell their story in the hula, from which those who understand can learn sacred teachings. The kahunas or teachers of the Hawaiian people carry a history tracing back 24,000 years containing lessons essential to the transition now taking place on our planet.
All of this richness at the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual levels is available on Hawai'i. To facilitate access to these sources, the Light Worker Center provides a center dedicated to spiritual exploration and awakening.
